Frankton Flats

Client: Shotover Park Limited.

Objective: Queenstown Lakes District Council has planned to rezone rural land between State Highway 6 and the Queenstown Airport to an urban mixed use area. The planning process includes appeals to the environment court challenging the location and extent of activities, and provisions associated.

What we did: Provided urban design advice to a landowner in the plan change area. Prepared rebuttal evidence and attended mediation and expert conferencing.

Outcome: This project is ongoing with a hearing set down for February 2012.
