Hingaia

Client: Karaka Area 1B Residents and Landholders Association.

Objective: To rezone Area 1b west of the existing urban zone at Hingaia from rural to urban residential and some community facilities.

What we did: Identified an appropriate urban form and provided recommendations for the layout and location of activities through a structure plan process. Provided advice to establish planing provisions for the area. Provided an urban design assessment report to accompany a private plan change for the area.

Outcome: The private plan change has been lodged with Council where it is being reviewed and preparation for public consultation is underway.
